A gallerist's view from Milan

An interview with Flavio del Monte, director at Massimo De Carlo, a contemporary art gallery with headquarters in Milan and galleries in London and Hong Hong, and an office in Beijing. Seen here with his wife, design curator Maria Cristina Didero. They live in Milan and explain what their “lockdown” has been like (after a previous “mellow lockdown”)—it seems to consist of everything from the typical Italian no-rules way of living to a serious shutdown. Quarantine is the antithesis of Italian culture. Here, Flavio explains:
